Whether you’re wanting to compete, or just brushing up on your speed, stamina or technique, we can help.
Thank you for checking us out! We are super passionate about making swimming available to all those who want to train to compete or want want to train at a higher level than regular swimming lessons. We teach in Shaftesbury, or we can come to your own private pool.
Why train with us? Well apart from the fact that we are super passionate about swimming & absolutely love what we do… here are a few more reasons:
- All of our Swim Team have, or are working towards, the Level 3 Safeguarding qualification (the highest Safeguarding qualification you can obtain before going up to Tutor status).
- All of our Swim Team have, or are working towards, the Swimming Sign Language CPD so we are able to help those that may prefer sign as opposed to verbal instructions.
- PLUS a portion of all TheWildCo’s profits go to initiatives & charities that benefit the planet through EnviroShark. Now what Swim Club can say that?!
- We also have a donation pot where people can donate money towards new equipment, special lessons for disadvantaged children, non-swimming adults, water safety weeks, or for any other reason. We are truly grateful for all donations we receive as it allows us to better serve the community we are part of & are so passionate about. To donate, click here.
Special Olympics GB in August!
We are thrilled to announce that two of our swim club’s talented swimmers have qualified to compete in the Special Olympics this August 2026 in Birmingham. This is a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for our Club and community!
To help support their journey, we are seeking sponsorship donations to cover travel and participation costs please. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference. Please consider supporting our swimmers as they represent us all, our lovely town and our county at this inspiring event.
There are multiple ways of sponsoring the swimmers:

- Send a BACS sponsorship donation (quoting your/the company’s name in the reference) to the main bank account details (TheWildCo Ltd, 82-19-74, 60395838); Or
- Let us know where to pick your donation up from (which can be dropped in at any of Wild Active’s classes found at www.TheWildCo.uk/classes).
All those who donate will get their names/businesses mentioned on our website & on any advertising we are allowed to take with us to the event (if you do not wish to have your name mentioned, please email us at Wild-SharkSC@outlook.com to let us know).
