| Aqua Therapist Upon completion of this course: You will be able to take clients in the water, who either have, or are recovering from, a range of injuries, illnesses or conditions. You will understand the basic principles associated with in-water sessions & how the water’s hydrostatic properties can affect, help & hinder your client. You will have knowledge of common conditions, illnesses & injuries (including post operation) that can be taken in the water. You will have the knowledge of a wide variety of in-water Aqua Therapy exercises & be able to differentiate when to use each of them depending on the client & their needs. You will be able to offer adaptations & modifications where possible to enable a positive, safe & productive Aqua Therapy session. You will have knowledge of venue safety procedures & operating procedures to ensure you work safely & in accordance with health & safety. Pre-requisites: Be at least 16 years of age. Hold one or more of the following: *Level 2 Swimming Teacher, *Level 2 Aqua Fit Instructor, or *Level 3 Personal Trainer.
